Thoughtful support for the reconnections that matter
Many of us feel a deep wish to acknowledge the teachers, coaches, lecturers, and colleagues who, through their care and kindness, brought out the best in us, and helped shape who we are.
On this page, we explain how our reconnection service works and what you can expect along the way.
What we do
- We help people reconnect with mentors, and colleagues they’ve lost touch with.
- our approach is gentle and privacy-respecting, using only publicly available information and thoughtful outreach
- Every search is handled with care, gratitude, and respect for everyone involved
Your story matters and we treat every reconnection with the dignity it deserves.
What you can expect from us
What you can expect when you work with us.
1 A thoughtful, respectful approach
Every search is handled with sensitivity, gratitude, and dignity.
2 Privacy – respecting methods
We use only publicly available information and ethical research practices.
3 Clear communications
All correspondence is conducted via email, ensuring clarity and consistency.
What we can’t guarantee – and why
1 We can’t promise we will find the person
Some people have limited online presence, or records may be outdated.
2 We can’t force contact
If someone chooses not to engage, we always respect their wishes.
3 We can’t use intrusive or unethical methods
Your search, and the person you’re hoping to reconnect with – deserve dignity.
4 The Internet
We all know the Internet in good hands is a miracle, but with bad actors it is a nightmare.
Within the limits of our endeavor, every search is approached with care, respect, and a genuine commitment to helping you find clarity and closure.
Ethical Boundaries You Can Rely On
This service has no connection to romance investigations, infidelity inquiries, skip tracing, fraud checks, or surveillance activities. These areas fall under the work of licensed private investigators and are not part of what we do. Our focus is solely on thoughtful, ethical reconnections grounded in respect, transparency, and care.
Those with experience in archival research are warmly invited to join our research team.
